Competencies
Our foundation: Highly qualified employees
Many of our senior CheMin employees have a background in geosciences or process engineering. In the 25 years since the company was founded, we have been able to expand our competences, especially regarding corrosion and fouling in power plants.
We have expert knowledge of thermochemical processes, fuel and firing interactions, the effect of additives and the resulting residues. We also have extensive expertise regarding the materials used and metallic and ceramic protective coatings.
Three members of our team are publicly appointed and sworn experts for the Swabian Chamber of Industry and Commerce. Their areas of expertise are materials used in fossil- and residue-fired boiler plants as well as non-metallic, refractory raw materials and materials.
Building bridges between research and industry
R&D is an important building block for us to further develop our expertise and to create innovations and links that make the markets we serve more successful. Thus, we cooperate with various research institutions and participate in publicly funded research projects.
